TANA Shark is a hydraulic driven, diesel engine powered, single shaft, low speed mobile shredder. Its diesel engine and hydrostatic transmission are controlled by TCS control unit, which sets up the best possible power/power output ratio. TCS protects the system from overloading, overheating and damage caused by noncrushable material by giving an alarm and stopping the operation.

Multiple Purposes

TANA Shark is suitable for the shredding of most reusable, recyclable and recoverable materials. The purpose may be volume reduction, renewable energy fuel production or recyclable material production. The key to productivity is its versatility. It is able to handle materials from domestic waste to waste wood, from plastics to tires and it can be used either a pre-shredder or making the required particle size in one phase.

Special Applications

The TANA Shark is designed specifically for extensive amounts, demanding needs and abrasive materials such as tyres. It guarantees the highest possible uptime. The machine in the picture upright is equipped with the feeding opening for automatic loading of tyres Rotor and Cutting Knives TANA Shark shreds materials by cutting. The rotor configuration can be customized to suite best the customer requirements. The regular rotor configuration is a “counter-twist”. If and when required the rotor can be replaced quickly due to the unique installation of the rotor (patent pending). There are different shapes of cutting knives available. Reversable shapes prolong the life-span of the knives.

Rotor Screen and Counter Knives

The rotor screen and counter knife design are the key to the machine’s ability to produce optimized end product size and capacity. The simple and robust counter knife design adds up to the versatility. Their amount
can be adjusted and they have four wearing surfaces. Due to the boltless attachement system their removal and reversing is easy and rapid.
