OBMtec started on 7 February 1979, at that time still “Ons Belang Mechanisatie”, named after the premises where the company was established. At first was started with the trade in machines and tractors for the agricultural sector. Very quickly a start was made with the import of wood chippers from Denmark and later in particular from America.
